New STI
The New STI Saloon back in 2011, it reminds me of the Mitsui Evo 6 Makinen edition.

I do like the STi saloon version and the wide bodied WRX they are launching as well, if they had released the STi saloon instead of / at the same time as the Hatchback then perhaps Subaru might still be selling cars.
I would look at buying one in the future, the only trouble for the hatchback is that it might well have an adverse effect on used hatchback prices...

It doesn't surprise me that Subaru have put together a new saloon STI.
The percentage of Impreza enthusiasts disappointed with the hatchback must surely be quite high.
Subaru are not stupid, they are there to make money and sensibly listened to the critics of the hatchback (those of us who prefer a saloon) and understandably realise that the hatch wont make the sales targets that previous saloons have achieved.
With a new post-hatch saloon they proabably hope to see sales increase to pre-hatch levels.
Or maybe I just haven't a clue what I'm talking about.
Lovely car all the same.
