Default My Latest Purchase...

Now that I have your interest just thought I would let you know about the bargain I picked up on the DVLA number plate site this afternoon (must have been bored in work).

I was looking for a number plate similar to S202TWA but nothing was available so I had a look for S600B** and I found that S600BTY was available.

So I bought it for £250 inc transfers which is a bargain compared to what I paid for TYR8N , there are plenty of other S600B** plates on there from £250.

And of course officer I shall be spacing the letters and numbers correctly.

That's what I thought as well Ryan, the site has an option to see it mocked up on the car as well.

It surprised me how cheap the plates were, the only time I think I've ever had a bargain from the government.

Thanks Dave, I might just take you up on that - one set for MOT purposes and another set with the correct spacing for 'normal' use.

And of course as it is an import it will be the smaller type of plates.

Unfortunately some of us pay more than others.

I have bought a few plates from the DVLA and they have been very cheap. Why some people go through the hassle of Registration companies is beyond me.

I know none of the S20* numbers came up when I searched, they must hold back registration numbers ending with 00 and just issue all the rest.

No problem, I am off next Wednesday as I am taking the car for an MOT and popping up to see APS with some wheels. Drop me a text to arrange something in the afternoon.

I know I looked on a few other sites and some of them were up to three times the price of the DVLA site.
