Cold Air Feed Through Fog Lamp Cover
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can order a cold air feed kit which will take it's feed through the o/s front fog lamp cover. I want it to feed cold air up to a RCM induction cone which I now have.
I have found a couple of universal kits on eBay but I would rather source one which fits the contours of the fog lamp cover properly or I could even source a fog lamp surround as fitted to a WRX.
I think that Zero Sports may do them but I cannot find them online.

I think he bought the intake collar and then just mounted it into the fog lamp surround, he then ran some convoluted pipe up towards the induction cone.
I think it is easy enough on a Hawkeye as the fog lamp hole is quite small but the Bugeye lamp is a lot bigger.

I don't know of any made to fit for the job I think most mod em on, you could get the cone part fibreglassed on and molded into shape or maybe experiment gently hammering the cone part into shape ? check the gallery out with the "search" function there have been threads from time to time on this subject Ty.

Hi Tyron - do you know whats involved with fitting such a kit, I assume the removal of the inner wing air box thingy and do you know the maximum diameter of trunking that will then go up from the fog cover to the filter
If for instance your cars been mapped, will the addition of the cold air feed make any difference or is it something you will get tuned in with Bob Is it worth me doing it now, or should I have done it before my map
You ordered the 89mm one, so I guess thats the correct size for us Bug's

That way it will have 2 air feeds, i'm going to fit it before the next map with the turbo, fpr etc. There should be no need a remap for you Simon as you are not changing the filter only giving it a better air feed, remember the air filter size will not change.

No I will leave the existing air filter trunking in place, there is no need to remove it. I will run the new pipe from the fog lamp cover and have it coming up just beside the induction cone.

Sounds like a good job then Ty - two air feeds are better that 1 Think I'll plan on this in a couple of weeks
Is that the largest diameter (89mm) trunk and cone that will fit the Fog cover Ty

You can get a pipercross kit from Halfords for £25. It contains 2 trumpets and enough piping for two kits. So i fit one and sold the rest for about £15. So £10 for a cold air feed. Perfect! That was for an APS inner wing filter though. There should be enough piping to reach the bay.
