Default Anyone recommend me a M.O.T station?

MY07 RB320 will be due its first M.O.T soon.
Can anyone recommend a decent test station that I can book a specific time slot, with a customer viewing area? Also that has the facility for on site AWD brake testing!

Cheers in advance

Iggy

I can't suggest anyone Iggy but my last two MOT's involved the tester driving the car (in garage car park area) to determine the effectiveness of the brakes. One MOT station were about to run the car on their "normal" rollers before I pointed out that the car had AWD.....doh!

If I had an RB320 I'd be quite picky about who got to drive it, even it it was for a few yards. Good luck

There was a guy on here a few days ago called Lee iirc who runs the mot station on North road just by the Land rover spares place who owns an RB5 so is well clued up on them.
I've heard good things about him as he understands that most are de-catted.
Its on the junction of North road and Maindy road on the road out of Cardiff next door to the BP petrol station

I may be wrong on this but my brakes get tested on normal rollers with no effects IIRC you can run the axles independantly up to 15mph.But make sure the tester knows. The guy that does mine has lots of experience with Impreza's after rallying them for years.

Nationwide on Leckwith road were doing MOT's for £27 (the offer was still on last week), I had mine done there before Christmas. They do have to take the car out for a brake test, but you can go with them.
