Default Drive Shaft issue

I'm currently fitting a 6 speed conversion but we've hit a snag with the rear shafts
The shafts with the R180 diff dont mate to the P1 hub's

Do i need to fit newage rear hubs or are there other shafts available ?

Yeap to run a newage rear diff u need either Newage hubs or hubs off a type R that had an R180 rear diff.
The other option is just leave the standard R160 rear diff setup on the car with the 6 speed box which is what i did.

make sure they are not the different stud pattern or you will need newage wheels on back and classic fit on the front

how did yolu go through so many diffs ??? they must not be the right ratio to your box you had to go through so many? what power was it running as i thought a p1 box and diff was alot better than standard uk or wrx

All the right ratios Diff's, over enthusiastic driving maybe....
Think there is only one type of diff for the P1

I've been offered newage hubs and reaer brembo's but i just need to check with garage now about the PCD

PCD will be 100 just like the R180 and p1

You will also be able to use your original p1 wheel's as well.

yes up to 2004 the STi stud pattern is the same as a classic , after 2005 they changed to 5 x 114mm
The sti hubs will fit onto your car , but your standard P1 brakes wont then fit , you will need the Type R or 2001 onwards sti rear brakes
Cheers Ian
