Hi Dim,

Don't replace single dampers, always replace in pairs. I'd advise looking at the KYB dampers on Camskill's website.

Here's a link but I'm guessing what spec your impreza is so please check before considering an order.
KAYABA 33 SERIES : KYB EXCEL-G SEALED GAS STRUT - Standard Rear Shock Absorbers - Pair - IMPREZA 2.0i Turbo GC8/GF8 EJ20G EJ205 93 TO 2000 Import :: £114.38 :: Subaru Impreza Turbo Parts, Tuning, Spares & Accessories :: 2.0i Turbo GC8/GF8 93 TO 00 Im

Or alternatively;
http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.p...m10b912s2662p0

KYB make several different types of damper for the classic and newage impreza so have a browse once your there Dim

So, a very early STi. Blueprinted block with a closed deck. Quite rare now so leave it unmolested. Just some 4 pots for the front and some under bonnet stuff really, new hoses, headers perhaps and a nice exhaust.

You won't be able to re-map the ECU. You need a change to a Simtek or some other similar mapable ECU.

thank you all for the warm welcome !!,
my main plan is to turn it back to standard....... used to have a honda civic eg with a boosted d16 engine, but I felt like a change so I swapped it or the scoob from I guy in Scotland. When I first had it, there was massive blue mudflaps (ripped em straight off) and it still has this gash twin exahust system I find quite embarrassing !! so if anyone has a full system up for grabs let me know. I also need a new set of rear lca's. Any ideas where I can get these from ?

I use Jap performance parts for a lot of bits. They are up in Gatwick but always spot on with next day delivery and reasonably priced
Any bit you need just give them a shout. www.japperformanceparts.co.uk
