Default stolen audi recovered

Hi guys,
I went to a local dealer a few weeks ago to buy a audi a4 avant but some gypsies stole it 5 minutes before I got there.

On the way to cardiff (A48) Friday and the car passed me (I have a photographic memory for number plates), so I phone the old bill.

Saturday Morning the dealer phoned to say they have the car back, I went down to look at it and its mint with only 100miles extra on it. Then the cheeky bastuard said he wanted more money than we agread on as they had to pay the Cardiff gypos to get the car back.

The car is on HPI as stolen will this be cleared as no claim has been made?
what's it worth?

Spec: audi a4 avant 170 tdi sline special edition 57 plate with 70k

Number plate CV57 CVD

Anybody know if hpi can be cleared?

Sound advise as usual. Just walk away IMO.

Fecking hell. 70k in two years. Hope it's got a good history.

But, gypos, S and R, may have a tag on it by now. Time to walk away.

Walk away mate - TBH they should be giving you a discount/reward for aiding the recovery - not sure who are the worst, the thieving gy*** who took it in the first place, or the thieves in the suites !

Why contemplate this one when you can get one without the colorful history.

The dealer/trader must be having a laugh.

Sod the dealers I'm going to save some cash and buy a private car for cash next year.

The only reason I'm looking to sell both cars is to buy a large one to take to south france skiing christmas time.
I'll take the vito instead.
