What is it with the French
why can't they build decent cars????
Thought the Scoob was going to be a money pit but it has been the most resiable car I have ever owned..
Bought a brand new Renault Espace in March 2008 and have just px'd it yesterday and good ridance.
Think the French are on a par with the Italians when it comes to Electrics!
In 18months it had:
New Keys
New sunroof (which is half of the whole roof)
New drivers seat
New wing mirror
4 CD players..yes 4!!!!!
ESP system inc sensors, wiring and ECU
New Dashboard wiring loom
ABS Sensors and Module
Electronic Handbrake
Fuel Tank Sender
Fuel Computer
7 seperate trips to Renault for 'software updates'
and the service light is on again now!!!! intermitantly so there's something else wrong there..
It was a nice ride and did loads to the gallon the Nissan engine and box were excellent 150bhp for a tractor is impressive but 8000 miles for a set of front tyres is just rediculous..
Never buying French ever again..!
