Just spent a week in France. Don't speak much french but I wandered into a newsagent (as you do) and found a mag called "Sub". Totally dedicated to Subarus and a great way to improve my french!
I'll try and get the cover scanned and post it.

Bon Nuit

Dave, yeah, Sub mag is a special edition of the same editor that does "Compte Tours". Owner is Gilles Stievenart (French rally driver, has his own circuit at Abbeville), pics are taken by Anne Chantal Pauwels (who used to be a co-pilot with Delecour).

I think Pete Croney visited Abbeville not too long ago ?

Duh !
I've never studied French but I'm fantastic at waving my arms about lots when trying to communicate.
I've really GOT to learn a bit of French because wifey has already got the French holiday mags out.

Sub Mag is well known by the French subaru owners.

A lot of great pictures but articles are not very interesting. So, it is not the best way to learn French.

I undersatnd that in the UK, you have a specific magazine talking only of Japanese cars. Is that true ?

Frenchie, we have mags called Japanese Performance and Banzai. The second one disappoints many people who are interested in minature trees.

LOL at Boost II

I was indeed at Abbeville. It was nice to meet the French owners and have some fun on the circuit.

I also met Giles and Anne Chantal of SUB magazine.

A great day and Abbeville is less than an hour from Le Shuttle.

I was also in France in August and bought the mag, I can e'mail the subscrition for or post it on the net if someone can tell me how to (Doh !) I would be grateful if frenchie could enquire and let us know if they will accept oversas subscriptions.

They also say in the mag that you can order back issues. I have also scanned some piccies of MY01 Bodykits?accessories that I have not seen over here which look the DB's.

Cheers

Dave
