how deep are the scratchs??

cos you dont want to polish too deep or you might end up with some bad paint thats really thin and may cause problems for future polishing

i would say this is really low. around 1-3

its really really fine and will work a treat by hand, and without ruining the paint

you want megs compound 80 for really cutting compund or 84

You used #84 on your motor Si ? this is on par with Menz Power Gloss, both polishes are very aggressive, each polish can cause marring/hollowgrams in the paint, #83 is more than enough for subaru paint or should be and if not broken down tidy both should be followed by #80 or the #205 i think it is.

I dont understand why you recommend #84 before #83.

My mistake it was 83 not 84 that I used.
