Default Help...

Hi, does anyone know the part number of the Prodrive 3 port boost control solenoid as I have ordered a Perrin item from TSL and after taking my payment they now find they do not have stock.

I need to try and get one in time for the weekend so the Prodrive route is my best option.

Or does anyone have a Perrin or Prodrive item for sale?

Looks like I should be getting a Turbosmart valve from Indigo GT in Merthyr in time for the weekend.

Poerstation fit them when they re-map. They may be worth a call.

They highly recommended it when mapping mine @ Powerstation, as Rich was struggling to control the boost. Think they charged me £50 for it - had it done three years ago.

It lookds like that I have been let down by another supplier - why do suppliers tell you they have stock promise to ship it and then let you down?

I will not name & shame until I have managed to source one of these blinking solenoids, looks like I will try Powerstation tomorrow and try to get up there on Friday.

Try these Ty, they are great guys and when they say next day they mean it.
Bought absolutely loads from them and they've never let me down. Give them a ring and check availability, they can be hard to get through to, as they only have 2 lines, but keep trying.

Tried them but they do not stock any boost control solenoids but did try to help , tried Zen Performance and they are sold out , tried API and they had a new one in stock, I paid through the nose for it but at least they guarantee I will get it tomorrow.

Is there an international shortage of these blinking boost control solenoids , I have tried to get hold of Apexi, Prodrive, Perrin and Turbosmart versions and nowhere apart from API had any stock.

Or is that the way with aftermarket performance parts for Imprezas that every supplier has to order in and keeps no stock?

Most suppliers carry stock. The only one i know that carries very little stock is Flat 4 online. I guess they are all feeling the pinch of the credit crunch and aren't carrying the stock they used to.

Sorry we had to sell you a new one, we usually have good stocks of used ones from Japan, but must have fitted 7 or 8 in the last 5 weeks, since they are all gone. . At least we did have something for you.

Thanks for your custom. David Api

Sorry for saying I paid though the nose that is not fair on my part (fuelled by my own frustation at not ordering the part sooner and the various suppliers who promised delivery and then did not even have the part in stock), you had the part in stock which is a great testament to your company.

To be honest I would have preferred a new unit as I have an inherent distrust of used electronics.

Thanks go to your staff at API for helping me today despite my slightly surly manner, I will be looking for an upgraded turbo before the end of the summer and I will be in touch.

Out of stock now though. So I hope I don't get inundated for 3 ports as I seem to be the only stockist.

Good luck with Bob and the remap. I know he'll do a top job for you.

Don't be worried about " surly " we have broad shoulders.
