HI, JUST BOUGHT 51 PLATE WRX AND AM DYING TO HAVE GAUGES FITTED, IT WOULD BE REALLY HELPFUL IF SOMEONE COULD POINT MY IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION OF SOME PLACE THAT INSTALLS THEM, OR WANTS TO EARN SOME MONEY THEMSELVES. IF I BUY THREE GAUGES AND HOLDER DO I NEED TO BUY ANYTHING ELSE. THANKYOU IN ADVANCE AND LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU.

Hi Gav, firstly welcome to scoobynet
To fit the guages you will need the senders and wiring too. Dave Coe in Gorseinon, Swansea should fit them for you. A few of the boys, myself included, use him as he knows his stuff with Subaru's.

depends on the gauges you buy ,you will need oil pressure adapter that fits behind the alternator to keep your original pressure sensor and run the gauge the same time and if you go for oil temp you need an adapter bolt that will fit to the blank plug on number 3 cylinder to give the best temp reading , don't go for the sandwich plate adapter that fits between the oil filter as when you run gauges from them they dont give true oil temp readings as for turbo gauge that will just need some vacuum pipe to the manifold hope this helps

Default gauge fitting

THANKS FOR THE REPLIES. DAVID COE SAID IT WOULD COST ROUGHLY 150, BUT HE HAS SAID THAT I WILL HAVE TO USE SANDWICH PLATE, WHICH A LOT OF YOU SAY NOT TO USE. HAVE ANY OF YOU HEARD OF ENDLICOTT PERFORMANCE AS HE SIAD HE HAS DONE A FEW AND THAT IT WOULD COST APPROX 80 FITTING. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING FITTING WISE WITHOUT THE SANDWICH PLATE AND WANTS TO EARN 100 POUNDS, TO FIT THEM, THEN PLEASE LEAVE ME A MESSAGE, THANKS AGAIN FOR THE REPLIES AND HOPEFULLY SOMEONE ON HERE CAN FIT THEM FOR ME

not being funny but i would not use a sandwich plate and can't believe that a place like david coe would tell you to use one as it gives the wrong readings and is a quick cheap way of doing it
