Dent/paint repair
A clumsy child has caused some v minor damage to someone's pride and joy.
The owner has produced an estimate - funnily enough from the place he works - quoting 60 notes for the paint and about 200 for the repair. Fair or unfair (btw the vehicle in question has got a non-standard paintjob)?
And if it's unfair a likely candidate who can do a decent job for lower cost.
Cheers.
P.S. No subarus were harmed in any of the aforementioned.

Depends what level of damage has been done.
- has it just damaged a small area of the paintwork
- has it damaged/dented any panels
- etc
As a benchmark, an old lady in her focus scuffed the rear bumper on my old wrx and dentmaster (mobile van) quoted me £85 to sort it. It was a scuff down to the plastic about 2" x 1".
I also considered getting it done by a proper bodyshop in Llandow, along with spoiler (small scuffs) and a front end respray to remove all the stone chips, etc. He offered me slightly mates-rates because I knew a friend of his, however he wanted £300-£350 (can't quite remember) to do the rear and front bumpers, spoiler, bonnet, and wings.
IMO, depending on the extent of the damage, £260 (+ VAT?) sounds a lot to me......
