Just a brief introduction to you all..
After years of wanting an Impreza but being too sensible with house purchases, getting married and bringing up children etc, I've gone and done it. I've decided to sell my trusty Seat Leon TDi (still have it actually) and buy a classic scooby. It's a T plate MY99 car with 104k miles in green. It's had an API engine 20k ago, exedy clutch 10k ago, wears silver 17" OZ's and has received several choice modifications from it's previous owner. I'll update the "view my scooby" section after it's stopped raining and I can give the car a proper clean and get some pics. Talking of cleaning, can anyone reccomend a good detailer, one that can remove swirl marks and the odd scratch etc as well as give the interior a good going over?
I also own a Mk2 Honda CRX that I use purely for track days (forget the bit I said about being sensible), so the driving expereince between the two cars will be quite a contrast. I will be coming along to a few meets in due course and it would be good to meet up with a few like minded enthusiasts.
Any other old farts around? I'm 38 years young.
