It will cause no end of dramas to Chip a Newage ECU. A remap is the only way really.
Have a Thread trawl about chips and ECU and you will probably change your mind.
Re-mapping is a much better option. It's unique to the car, is adjustable and a much better proven method. Just IMHO.
I don't know anyone who's chipped a newage ECU. I do know if you have a PPP fitted ( new ECU) they have to have both keys for some form of coding.
Guys and girls?

Second the above. A re-map will give you a better result than a chip and will allow for future changes and modifications more easily.
There is BR Developments in Swindon and usually a group buy running on here for JGM or Andy Forrest. They all have a good reputation and will do a great job.
There was someone local setting up too, a forum member, but im not sure how that is going
Good luck mate

you won't go far wrong with JGM mapping your car, he is a great guy and knows his stuff
had mine mapped twice by him and both times have been blown away by the difference in performance

As long as your not running a FMIC i'd stick with the original air intake and at most put in a performance panel filter. The original subaru air intake system is supposed to be very good. With an induction kit you run the risk of drawing warm air into the engine as it isn't particularly shielded from underbonnet engine temps.
That way saves you a couple of quid too, which is always a good thing.
