Default still on origional clutch

100,000 miles this week bought the car when she was 4 years old at 40,000 miles i wouldent say that there is alot left in the clutch but im quite pleases after reading some threads that some clutches only last 30,000

Mine lasted till 92K and this included quite a few hard lauches at the pod and some traffic lights!!!!

done quite a few traffic light launches in the past not so keen now dont like the smell of the clutch when i now how mutch thay are to replace

Mine was still going strong at 100k 'til i upped the power, then it was having none of it. The engine accelerated well in 5th...but the car didn't!

us truckers seem to now how to look after a clutch

Well i don't get to use one in my lorry...Semi auto Iveco Stralis. Still i do drive the rigids with a clutch for a quick run to Neath and back.
After how much it cost me to have the clutch changed i'll certainly be looking after it.

The guy I sold my front seats to picked them up in his MY00. It had 180K on the clock and he and his mrs claimed it was on the OE clutch. He'd had it from new.

o i spelt it wrong we had one it couldent cope with all the sea water we use

Don't think theres enough metal on it to rust! Cracking tractor unit, up there with the best i've driven. Pulls its brains out, although it does seem to draw love/hate comments among the drivers. I love it.

same with the scania 580 we had drivers say there excellant i found it a pile af crap allways somthing going wrong with it boss went for renault mack units been driving them for 2 years now out pull the scania and there bomb proof
