440's in without mapping yet

440's in without mapping yet
hi all
just put in the 255 fuel pump wow what a **** up job that was ,,,
the wireing ,,5 diff places told me 5 diff things to do about it, so just done my own thing
now for the yellow injectors 440's out of an 96 sti ,i would like to put them in ,but was not sure if i can run them without the car beening mapped for them yet ,,will it drink the juice and give me lots of backfire fire fire or not run at all and be bad for the motor ,,,
your advice is needed

Try to get them fitted as close to mapping as possible, you can drive the car but best to stay off boost, it will be over fueling and probably won't be very nice to drive.

It pretty easy to change injectors, had mine in and out several times when i had a problem with the seals leaking.
Where u from?? i can give u hand if ur not to far away
