Coming back frm cardiff on the a470 and there was a lil twonk up our backside in a white classic dumping his valve trying to get my bf to play in his m3 they didnt look too happy as he turned off. I love subarus and we keep ours locked up in the garage! just a perfect example of lil boys thinking they big, its a shame the classics r getting cheaper lil boys r able to buy them and it reflects bad on ppl on here who treasure they're cars and are responable with them..

Im glad scooby's are becoming cheaper cos I was able to afford one Being a single bloke, with a motgague and two cars I didn't have much to spend on my second car.. Scooby is perfect

Doesn't mean that everyeon that buys a cheap classic is a numpty, unfortunatly most are

you got the select few who have classics and responable with them but as i said they getting so cheap its a shame to see them going to boy racers thinking they can race anything these days and giving off the impression as so many people think and i specially thought it when he was up our bkside.

Perhaps you boyfriend wasn't driving very smoothly or is a very poor driver and they had to keep lifting off the gas!!!! I've had it loads of times, when the person in front can't keep a constant speed. I'd of overtaken and given you a blast of horn if that was the case.

I hate following BMW's, 99% of BMW drivers forget where the indicators are, claim the fast lane of the motorway as theres and most don't give a monkeys to other road users, Tosser the lot of um.

I did tell the wife that she had indy winkers (or what ever they are called on her beemer) but she said she did not have them cos they were extra
As for hogging the fast lane she is usually the one flashing everyone to get out of the way, she dont hang about. Your right she dont give a dam about other road users but she is no tosser

Well said Danny i think most BMW drivers think they own the road with little or no respect for other road users.

Problem is most BMW owners are not actually the owners. Their employer\company is and because they are actually very good cars they over compensate for poor driving very well making a moderate driver feel like Alonso. Coupled with a lack of fear that they will not have to pay for repairs they normally drive with an air of supremacy about themselves. Like Alonso let the faster younger generation past.

I agree with Danny he should have just moved over and given them the bird if he was brave enough or just moved over and not held them up any more than he did if he wasn't. Sounds like there was a bit of who do they think they are going on and they gave it to him both barrels.

You were in their way and they wanted to get past. They might of been desperate for a p00 or just late. What do you know other than judging them on their age. Nothing. Granted that some are falling into wrong hands but others are being loved and cherished just like your in the garage.

You are not going to get any sympathy here sorry. Show em you can leave them or get out the way. Sorry if it upsets you.

Good reply.. I agree that fleet drivers drive with a certain disregard for their car as i used to when I ran a fleet car. Took the sump off it twice on speed bumps, cost me nowt.

Anyhow if you had room to move over, you should have, not only is it sensible its written in the highway code . He may have been trying to get you to race, or he may have had a family emergancy, needed a poo, late for a job interview. None are a reason for speeding but its not up to you to deal out punishment (hold them up as it were) just let them belt past and hope a speed camera is round the corenr.

If he was just a boy racer and speeds everywhere he will get done sooner or later anyhow.

If im on the motorway and someone is coming up fast behind me, i don't really care why theu are speeding, I'll just get out of the way as soon as i can, then just pop back out behind them if need be, less agro for all concerned!

we was in the left lane no one in the right lane my bf did not care to blitz his car as he loves it and having a heavily pregnant missis and child in the car was another fact just pointing out to the twonk if he was on yah how sad he looked! and how much of a shame the classic are getting cheaper that they falling into the wrong hands! your right u do have alot of bmw drivers that think they own the rd but u also got the sensible bmw drivers like u do with the subarus!!
as i've said my main point was to tell the fella in the classic being a **** could have caused a huge car crash doing what he did and to say what a shame the classics r getting cheap not to slag off anyone who owns a classics as i love the classics but u all have ur own points!

my thoughts are he is. he've been hoovering around for the past 2 weeks n wants to race anything n nrly caused a car crash endless amount of times cutting ppl up i've seen him wen i been fillin up the car n its not the first time hes tried to race us. Jus wondered if he was on here cos he jus seem to have come out of no where!!
