While I wait for everyone to stop laughing at my comtemplation of financial suicide, I want to ask if any garages in S.Wales know Deltas?

I've always wanted one and am still throwing ideas around for different makes of car before I give up and buy another Impreza (Viewing a P1 in Carmarthen Saturday whilst the Mrs shops )

Trouble with them is, specialists are few and miles away from West Wales (as is most things). Once a year I'd take it to a specialist for a check over but would like somewhere locally that could at least advise if something untowards happens to it.

Just thought as Deltas used to be popular with the rally guys before the Japanese got involved, that someone might have an idea about them.

There are two Guys in St Davids who (Used too) have Deltas,One of them is a Guy who works (Owns) the Butchers shop on the left as you go into St Davids, the other Owns (Or used too) the Garage on the right as you go out towards the Rugby Club on the one way system. Might be worth your while having a trip out to ask.....!

you need to speek to mark scott he used to come on here all the time and pops up sometimes now and again,his mate had one of the fastest integrales iv ever seen.he used to live in caldicot and i think sold it for a motorbike because that was the only thing that could keep up with it.good cars but they need lots of tlc at there age.

And here was me thinking I'd get no response and have to give up the idea of a Delta and settle for another Subaru

Got one Delta in mind and the owner has sent me a copy of receipts for work carried out - folk aren't joking when they say these things aren't cheap!

In its defence though insurance is half that of a P1 or newage STI of the same value.

I'll try Bob Brain and get some opinion and ideas on service costs. The Mrs hates it over a P1 but if she doesn't like it that much she can walk
