What's my Impreza worth?
This could be a heartbreaking thread for me but I'm thinking of selling for a newer model and I'd like some educated, fair valuations.
Its a UK 2001 Y reg bugeye WRX with all the cosmetic mods you can see in the pics. It has sti backbox and a green panel filter. Also has vented discs on the front with uprated pads. The tyres are Toyo proxes T1-R's fairly new only covered 3000 miles. As seen in the pics the paintwork is in very good condition.
Valuations of a private and trade in sale would be great.
Thanks in advance guys...

Nice looking Bug WRX from a fellow owner.
I would say you're looking at £6-6.5K for trade in . Wrong I know but I bet that's all they'd offer unless you were chopping in for a £20k+ car.
Private I would think £7k (depending on mileage) for a quick sale and £8k if you hold out.
Unless you're Bug's high mileage or you're looking at a Hawkeye, I'd question changing (for a Blobeye) unless you're upgrading to a JDM STi......

I agree with Danny, strange 2nd hand market .
Unless I was changing for a JDM STi, Spec C or PS T25, I'd question changing mine considering the low price I could sell for.
Personally I'd keep it until the engine goes BANG!, then get a 2.5 rebuild w/FMIC, AST's, uprated brakes and running 350+bhp....(and yes, I've already got it planned ).
p.s. £7-7.5K would seem a fair price for a private sale if I were buying.

Nice bugeye. It's amazing how little these seem to be worth now, the model is coming to the end of it's life and there is very little demand.
The best offer I have had for my '06 7.5K miles 2.5 WRX is £12.2K !
