Default Alternative motors

i'm bored so I thught I would ask;

If HEAVEN FORBID that no more scoobs were built and you had to spend your hard earned sheckles on a different motor (not an equivalent such as an evo) so any thing other than a car that is both 4 wheel drive turbo charged as standard, what would you buy?

Personally I would probably buy an M3 or maybe a skyline

Just thought I would ask

Wouldn't touch a BMW with a barge pole, Too many of the damn things on the road.

For me, After owning a 4wd I don't think I'd ever have a car that isn't, I'm quite liking pickup trucks (Nissian) at the moment but I'd love a skyline, but I only like the look of the R34 GTR.

Also wouldn't mind a RS Audi either a 4 or 6.

Ditto Wide.

Wifey's MX-5 does pull at my heart strings every time I drive it. It really is a fun, easy and fantastic handling car. 6 speed box on the Mk2.5 Sport is the best action I have ever driven.

Bullet proof mechanicals, cheap to run (her insurance is only £235 with A-Plan !!!!!) and loads of goodies to buy aftermarket. Sadly, the dog don't fit behind the seats

When I originally posted this thread I was kinda thinking about cars that could be picked up easily, not really dream machines. But now we are on the subject if money were no object my garage would contain (in no particular order)

1970 Plymouth Roadrunner 440 Hemi,
Skyline GTR 32 (prefer the rawness not found in the 33 or 34)
Ariel Atom
Impreza type 25
BMW M5 (I know what some of you might think)
Koenigsegg CCR

Guy i Blackwood done the opposite, sold a 911 turbo and bought a brand new RS4 Cab.

If we are talking dream garages, lottery win type garages then i'd have:

- Spec C Type 25 as a "run around"
- Low Milage 22b
- Low Milage Eccort Cosworth
- BLack Ferrari F430 Cab
- Yellow Lambo MURCIELAGO LP640
and probably a few others, would need a damm big garage.

Dream car is Porsche 997 turbo.

Realistic alternative is a Honda integra DC5 with a supercharger.

I know someone with a DC5 who is planning on doing a supercharge conversion, he has owned a Supercharged CTR previously, so i'm sure it won't be long before he gets it done.

The V10 TDi pulled a Jumbo Jet on 5th gear recently, probably the best programme of the series, well apart from the Type 25.
