Smile New tyres required

I need new rubber, using Toyo at present, but have been into local garage and has offerd me some Goodyear F1's for £83 fitted inc vat,(225,45,17) is there a certain type of F1, Can anyone help on this matter,

GSD2 are the old version
GSD3 are the new version.

£83 is a pretty good price.

GSD3's are great, i'm on them currently after a set of toyo's an they are miles better both it grip and wear.

Make sure you get the y load rated tyre. They has been instances of tyre walls splitting on the lower rated tyres

Im looking to get new rubber after christmas, roughly wanting to spend around £80 each, which ones do you recommend ?

Try Grants Tyres in Cwmcarn, he was doing F1's in 17" for £75 a few months ago, don't know if he can still get them for that price though.

just ordred them online ... the GS-D3.... payed $851.30 so like 425pounds but thats express shipping from america..... 245 40 17 size.... so 83 pounds is good

Bloody hell...didn't know u could fit 245's on a 17'' rim!

Depends how wide the rim is, probably need an 8J wheel for 245's

Be like dragster wheels
Just put 215/45/17's on my classic and they're rubbing a bit every now and again. Think its on the suspension, just another excuse for me to get the coil overs she deserves
