full brembo STI calipers/discs and ferodo pads
testing the water really - i'm contemplating chaging my brakes. If i do i will have Brembo 4 pot calipers (off my 04 JDM STI) along with good condition discs and unused/boxed ferodo DSC 2500 pads.
Whats the going rate for these?

I paid just over £400 for mine with standard pads so you should get about £500 with the Ferodo's.
Personally as John said i would save the money and just try the brembo's with a decent set of pads, as i don't think the gains your get will be that great for the amount cash it would cost.

Braided hoses and quality pads. Save your money for a rainy day.
If you have to do something then just upgrade the disks to say, AP's.
I can't see the gains there for the £££ with the Porsche Brakes. Not for road use anyway. Just my 2p.

it was only when i added up the cost of the pads/new discs etc and realised dependant on how much i could sell the current set-up for i wouldn't be a million miles away from a set of APs. Ian looks after the local boys you know
i'm in no major rush - i'll see how the brembos cope once the suspension is done and decide from there

Probably better off selling your brakes on E-bay as trying to sell anything under general on this site seems to attract all sorts of silly offers and other users trying to sabotage your sale.

I was wondering about upgrading brakes myself so asked andy down in Ace about what would be best for mine when it was in for some work . We decided after xmas a new set of Brake engineering solid disc's( no wavy grooves or drilled for me ) braided lines and rally spec brake fluids. Pagid Blue front pads and mintex fast road rear pads. Same sort of thing thats on a few of his rally cars. Should suit me down to ground.
i almost got off the rollercoaster now he's gave me a whole new list of stuff to spend on
