Took the V6 Calibra round there a while back and yes quarry is fun but Camp corner is one to watch as there isnt much grass between the track and concrete wall

Q1,
What tyres do you intend using for tomorrow, at best its going to be damp, at worst its going to be very wet,
Keep to the R/H side heading into avonrise, Lift just prior to Avon rise to allow the supension to return to nuteral, this will give you the time to set the car up for Quarry (beware there will be a lot of water running of the infield here) suspect a number of cars will hit the grass on the exit, so beaware of track conditions into the esses, tower could also suffer from excess water, camp corner, the last one coming on to the start/finish is fast but beware it is negative camber.
Have a good run and stay on the black stuff..
John
1`19" IN THE DRY IS A GOOD RUN..

WOW
Thanks for all the advice....
I tried to put it to good use.......
Well, I managed to stay onn the Track
A BIG thanks to BIGBRAKES for finding me and wishing me 'luck'......
I MUST appologies, i did not even shake you hand
I am Hooked........ the weather was good - it stayed dry for me....
Even by the last lap I was still not sure what bend was next.......
I past a few and let a few past...... to allow me as MUCH room as possible...
like they say... "it's not a race..."
Did anyone see that MX5..... spoke to the passenger after..... and it had a turbo fitted to it........ was damn quick...
I'd like to get a set of decent tyres if i do it again..... just had 'non branded' ones..... and I realised after that they were odd ones at that......
The alignment was SPOT ON........
The car felt SO balanced...
I REALLY enjoyed myself
But, i lost everyone half way through the morning and despite walking from quarry to the pits several times.... i couldn't find anyone..
If anyone took pity on me and took any pics, i'd appreciate a copy
Phil

A friend of mine was taking piccies (with my camera)
He took a picture of me on one lap and a second picture on the following lap.... (at near as damn it the same point on the circuit)
From this I have checked the times... and can safely say, that It was NO where near the 1.19
It worked out at 1.36 (Which I am more than happy with...)
Even though it's not that important (Staying on the track is more important )
Edited for Speeling
