Default BOV's



I ve had a look at how to fit this thing,my only queire is what do you do with the pipe that goes from the plastic dump valve round into the engine ? where the blue mark is.

I think the pipe you mean is the return pipe for a recirulating valve, if thats is the one you mean you block it off with a bung for as VTA type valve.

Water tank (take it you mean coolant) is the tank nearest your induction kit, with the silver (metal) cap. It has two small black hoses which go to the radiator and one large one which goes off to the turbo hoses going to the top of it. It should be about 1/2 and inch from the top when cold.

So these engines dont have water tanks ? like normal cars do.

e.g my cars temp is very high " have you checked theres water in it " Lol

Ive got a cap some where around there which says coolant.

What model is this VC ?

The yellow cap with coolant written on it near the passenger Headlight fills a large overfow reservoir in the wing apparantly, i was told not to bother filling it up there to just check the other tank, although there is a min and max level on there, so won't hurt to put some in there as well.

As for a bung, the dump valve i bought didn't have one so i used a stop end for copper pipe (my dad i a plumber so found it in the garage)
