I was thinking of a small (ish) badge to append to coat/T shirt so new (and old! Ooops) Scooby owners can tell who is who in the car park.... This is mainly because i am really poor at remembering peoples names....
Is that how others understood it/ want to do this?
Cheers Paul

Printed ones would be nicer but its a lot of hassel for someone.
Some thing small in the window might be better.

Forgive me for saying this… But aren’t we taken this a little to far now. Just because one person could not pluck up the courage to ask people their name we now are going down the road of wearing name badges. Come on lets get this in proportion
What next.
The colour of our underwear.
I don’t know all of you and I’m sure most of you don’t know me, but I try and make an effort to meet as many new people as possible without the use of visual aids EG name badges when I do make guest appearances.
Just my two pence worth
Criss
I’ll get me Coat
PS Good design NoCatSTI and Rooskins

this is a good idea but im thinking street cred people who dont have scoobys think this is abit sad, grown up men stood in a car park talking about the size of there
wheels,so if we were to wear badges saying we are sad blokes that stand in car parks ect ect,i think this might have a detrimental effect on what people think of us.only my opinion good idea for speed dating though.

Does look a bit sad i must agree, won't be wearing one inside the pub thats for sure.
Still think the original idea i had about posting our names, photo of the car and a photo of oursleves is a better idea, although i am a bit camera shy so finding a pic of myself i'm willing to put on the net may be a bit of a task.

OR
My names majorie i'm your fat fighter rep, I too was fat once, just show your badge to get your free low calorie cake mix my little fat friends
OR
A personal favorite of mine BASEBALL CAPS with our names embroided on the front
Lets get back to reality when you take a ball out to play you don't play with yourself do you,you look about for someone in this case it happens to be a bloody car park full of them the point is to really make good friends as most of us are you need to go on a trip to the pod or paintballing or karting or even a boy's or couples night out in swansea or something like that
that would really break the ice just a thought
btw god help us on the next meet after all this it gonna be fun
and i was thinking more on the lines of a little sticker for the rear side window or even one the size of the sws sticker

As I am new I think a thread with photos of members with their cars is a great idea , that way I and others can put a face to the names when we come along to the meets.

Good Point
So no badges on people,
i see your point.... and tottally agrre a night out in Swansea/Cardiff would break the ice. The meets have become very big very quickly though, victims of your own succes really
Might be interesting to have an A4 sheet of paper with sign on name, your name and what you have done to your car... or is this too much like a museum ??
Cheers Paul

Why don't we have a game of Bulldogs.....!
Magor/Cardiff (East) lot at one end of the car park
Bridgend/Swansea (West) the other end.
Then charge at each other, pick on one individual each, try and knock seven bells of poo out of him/her,
soon get to know each other then...!
I'll be the one in the black and white stripey shirt (REF)
or I'll just turn up late and blame it on lom (He told me the wrong time)
