Default Thinking of a change.

As some of you know I used to have a Wagon. Loved it because of the dog etc still miss it really
Wellllllllllllllllll Wide told me about the WR Blue WRX in CVC. Leather and all the toys. Very nice. So, I phoned up and asked did it have a Tracker as this would be the decider.

So here is how it went.

"Hullo is that "the Salesman" (no names)"

"Yes"

"Hullo I am Mr Blah blah etc bought the Silver WRX last year.....yeah thats me......was interested to know if the Blue Wagon as a Tracker fitted, being interested in buying it?"

"No it doesn't................"

Pause................I wait for the " but would you like to come and perhaps we could etc etc".
Nothing not a peep, not interested in a sale obviously. Top selling technique.

I really was interested too.

My first bad vibe from CVC. Hope your watching.

So no sale!

Ian,

Phone up and ask to speak to the MD. I had a hours meeting with the MD of Sparshatts of Botley this morning and it was enlightening. We are going to try a few things to make it better down south. If you tell them your not happy see what they do. Sales guy will get a piece torn out of him as well. They do want to hear when their staff do well but moreso when they miss a sale for the want of manners.

Good luck

Gazz.

Give Ian a call at Litchfields, sure he would gladly talk to you, and his vehicels are likely to be a lot cheaper than "#V#",.

Unhappy CVC Feedback

I agree with above

I went to CVC and asked a few questions about the 06 model and was not taken at all seriously by the two suits in the showroom

I am seriously thinking T25 from Litchfeilds when i return from the Falklands and have saved a few quid

The sales guy at Litchfeilds (Tim) was just soo friendly and very informative , he gets my vote...

I also gotta £900 25K servicing bill in december which blew me away!! My other servicings there and in KP Abergavenny where in the 125 -200 region so just under £900 was a real kick in the teeth.

CVC dont really need to sell cars when they make so much from servicing then do they

Obviously IMHO

Cheers Paul

Same thing happened to me last year.. so I wasn't in a top of the range trade in and wasn't wearing a Barbour Jacket.. BUT I do have a job, could've afforded the payments was willing to buy a car from them.. was told to go and look at the second hand showroom..

So I went to Motorpoint.. and saved 5K..

Thanks for saving me money..

Thumbs down It's a funny old thing....

I have noticed with certain garages, and life in general, that the clothes you wear are very important to people like this.... and yet in todays culture many people who have to wear suits are worse off than people in jeans and t shirts

Or am i wrong on that one

Cheers Paul

Just abit annoyed that as a peeps who would be buying his third CVC car I was not even entertained with a "but would you like to come and see......"

So, it will probably be my last CVC trip.

Personally I'd take that a step further.

Why buy UK or Motorpoint when you can buy a secondhand Spec C or T25 from Litchfield?

i have been to cvc twice, last week to get parts waited nearly
10 mins to get served, and nobody seems interested in what you
are there for, mat in parts is helpfull, but there a bit snooty
i work for mercedes and noboby who works with me would leave
a customer standing around and bother to tryand help even if
there was nothing they could do, it's just common courtesy'
so bad cvc for customer service.

Popped into CVC today to get a speedo cable, as soon as the "I" word was mentioned they didn't want to know! So i just rang Keith Price and they were really cool about it, they took my name and number and are going to contact Subaru in Japan, now thats what i call service
CVC should send someone up there to learn about customer service!
Even though they don't make any money when people buy imports, they can still make money on supplying parts, so whats that all about
