Default Brown Trousers!!!!

Went into town today. Very nice but a bit busy. Anyway then went off to IKEA and came back through town. Up past Jury's via Churchill Way and past Queen's Street station. It's about 2.30 PM, everywhere is chocker.Stopped at the lights, inside lane, near The Capital Centre/Sainsbury's. Lights go to green pull off, not fast, road bends left. Bus lane on the inside is empty, me in the middle and no-one outside me.A slight spot of rain as fallen. I suddenly feel the backend go and I am going sideway down the Dumfries Place with full right lock on!!!!! **** end near the centre reservation the nose pointing at the pavement, Oh f**K. I get traction back and the car then mounts the curb and I get the anchors on about a foot from the wall of Morgan Cole Solicitors!!!!!!!Thank f**k there is no-one on the pavement or on the road. I get out and check for damage and still no-one is around. Get in the car look at the wife who is slightly "concerned" and drive home. A very lucky boy.

Not good.

Glad it was "only" a close shave and there's no damage or injury.

Are you coming to the spairs rally on 27th Dec?

my mate wrote off another mates 5 series bmw in the same pace but on the other side of the road. If you went up the curb hard you may well have messed up your geometry set up

That's a good point Ian.

You should get the 4-wheel alignment done when you're up at PS next.

In fact you might as well get Eibach's done at the same time.

The main thing is that the boss is OK... Still a trip to PS in the new year is now a must, should have convinced the boss to extend your budget to AST`s

Had a good look at the curb last night while i was driven round the bend - it could have been a lot worse as the curb is prety low

As an after note, went and got the geometry done at Powerstation.
The front left had uneven tyre wear starting. Rear left was 2 Degrees out of line!!!!!! and needed a new camber bolt. So, it's highly recommended and definetly sharpened up the steering.

Sooooooooo, while I was there had a quick 3 Port Boost controller fitted and a bit of RR. Now got 262.5 BHP and 343 Nm Torque.

Not bad for a fully catted WRX Bugeye me thinks.

They are going on. Stupidly I should have fitted them before the Geo setup. But, I was too excited after Xmas and the trip to PS.
