RB5 Mods almost completed
Simb,
I got some pics of the Autgauges I've installed in my car, there not brilliant.
3 Gauges wired to the power but only 1 works at the moment as I can't do the rest until the next service, which will be Friday.
They do look better in person, which I'll show you on Wednesday.

Go on Si you might as well spend the cash after buying the little bits you bought recently.
Also you 'll have to add £75 for the POD and £29 for the sandwich plate which is a shiny piece of stainless steel lump from Swoosh.

In order you have to do the following :
Remove Top glove box lid
Remove Glove box ( Pull hard, very hard )
Remove passenger glove box
Remove electric mirror switch casing between Driver and passenger
Unscrew centre handbrake plastic casing around gearstick and handbrake and pull backwards no need to remove completely.
Pull off facia which includes stereo
wire upto cigerate lighter and ground off on chassis
All that should take about 2 to 3hr
Put the dashboard back together takes about 30min don't ask me why, but it did.
Wire up gauges through drilled holes in the glove box base
screw on POD with screws supplied
makesure boost tube connected on gauge and T piece to the dumpvalve
Job done almost, all thats left to do is connect pressure sender and temp sender on next service which will take 5 minutes.

Consider some of the places around like scoobyworld or other places selling the gauges for £50 or more each is stupidly expensive, your better off buying them direct from above.

My last set were acurrate, but then how do you tell whats accurate.
You only thing that I'm doing different this time is putting the oil pressure and oil temp on the underneath of the engine using the oil filter fitting using the swoosh plate from scoobyworld. This will apparently give you a better reading instead of taking the reading from top of cylinder 3.
Time will tell as they say.
