Mid Wales Run 9 - Feedback
Don't want to discuss the route in detail on this forum but would like some feedback before planning MWR 10.
1. Departure time, too early? too late? ok?
2. Run finished at 14:30 too early/ too late? OK?
3. Direction of route clockwise/anticlockwise?
4. Number of pit stops, too few? too many? OK?
Basically any feedback which could improve the next run would be appreciated. If you have suggestions regarding route please mail me privately.

answers to your questions
time was fine to start
time was fine to finish.......though i suppose we could of had a bit longer in the cafe
route is fine in any direction
pit stops were ok....but maybe a stop mid afternoon run to take some photos would of been nice

it was my first one and i really enjoyed it, would definitely come again. the only problem i found was that there were quite a few sunday drivers out after dinner on our way to the finish which was a bit annoying, other than that it was great.

Mike,
Was my fiest one as well so thanks again for organising it - absolutly loved it though i'm going to need a new navigator for the next one
With regrds top the questions here goes:
1. Departure time was fine
2. Finish time was good as it meant i could wash the car before it got dark though as the summer comes on the days will be longer.....
3. Route was top - not having done one before its hard to comment on the direction though the home leg was a top way to finish
4. Pitstops were good - possibly could do with another 1 or 2 to help out sick-feeling passengers though
See you soon

1. we left at 0942; I guess with summer just around the corner (supposedly) a slightly earlier departure would be OK - say 0900.
2. It did seem a bit early - though it appeared that people were eager to buggeroff
3. Variety is the spice of life. Anything to throw the bizzies off the scent.
4. Too few; would be nice to stop at designated viewpoints. Then we could admire the scenery, motors, take a few snaps, etc.
5. There are some cracking roads further north but too far in a day I guess, so how about a camping trip?
Someone's already made the comment about Sunday drivers but I don't think there's anyway to get away from them unless you venture out at first light.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Unfortunately the better the weather the more Sunday drivers there are, hence in the past we haven't done much in the summer months.
