Just wondering if the DBM classic scooby, gold alloys that I saw at George Street Bridge in Newport late afternoon today (reg N *** *AE) belongs to anyone here. It was just before Prince William and Prince Charles left the homeless project opposite George Street Warehouse.
I was among the press photographers covering the event , I've got a great picture of your car that looks like its being guarded by 4 coppers - the ultimate security system !!!!!!!!!
Ring any bells with anyone.
Also spotted a grey STi 5 about 9.30/9.45 am near Newport Mags court. Again amongst the TV crews and photographers photographing Sam Hammams ex bodyguard in court for setting the fire alarm off at the Celtic Manor when QPR stayed there (excellent!!) Lovely car, but failed to get a pic.
Again any takers ?
Gareth

Gareth, just do the PPP, you know you want to.
I remember our outing at Castle Combe and the bug-eyed STi
just didn't bring a smile to my face but it was a different
story when I tried the PPP version.
I seem to remember getting out grinning and saying
"That's more like it".
Still not sure whether I'd prefer one over my P1 though.
(Roll on getting a job eh, then maybe I could choose)
As for rolling road, I was happy with Power Engineering,
just have 2 weekend trips to some friends in London.

Thought about Power Engineering - I've heard good things about them. Know what you mean about the PPP just got to make that final discision.. its not as easy for me having to use the car for work, as well as the cost !!
Still no news on the job, sorry to hear that, hopefully it will be sorted by the next time we meet.
Sammy...I know, the mileage isn't what it used to be, one of the staff now lives in Merthyr which cuts down my mid Wales runs :-( still off to Newbury Saturday to do the rugby, nice couple of miles there !!!

Your PPP question, I've got a my01 blue/back,PIAA lights,tints and PPP,
the car was PPP at 8000 mls, with regards to power, went to G-Force and managed 252bhp thats with a ITG filter.
Should be 245bhp, so a few BHP up and warranty not effected.
It makes sense.
Hope that helps. But you do get used to the power, and you will always want more!!!

Daiscooby,
Lovely looking car, even if it is a fake, lol, very nice, although you looked far too serious while driving - you were probably the only driver that didn't glance across at the assembled media. Still, sorry I didn't get a pic , too busy looking out for (alledged) football thugs !!!!!!!!!
