hi gang
i have been looking at the travel lodges
near to the meeting in june
there are several near by
i will be ringing one of them soon
to see what sort of discount i can
get for a group booking
if you are going in june and fancy
travelling up on saturday and staying
till monday morning then let me know
so i can get some sort of numbers.
travel lodges are normally about £50 a room per night

andy ive been speaking to a b&b on the ripon road<A61> south of ripon but is on the actual road that the theame park is on
they still have 3 rooms available <no other b&b in the area have any rooms><belive me ive just spend 4hrs finding out>
2x double with ensuite
1x double + single not ensuite <but the man said that the b/room this room would use would be only shared with the people that live there>
price,s are ....
double....... £58
double+single £55
i have asked if we booked the three rooms if we,d get a discount and he said i would have to ring tomorrow and find out off the boss,,,,,
whats the thoughts on this people we need to act fast to get this place,, this is in the ideal area and includes breakfast <dont think t/lodge price includes this???>

ok gareth
i am hoping we will have a few more people interested than
3...
there are plenty of travel lodges on the way to the site
i wanted about 50 mile journey on sunday morning
give us a chance to maybe meet up with a bigger group
if the theme park is just up the road the cars wont even be warm
anyway i will leave this on here till next friday then ring around
to find a suitable lodge
with a travel lodge it is per ROOM and they will throw
in a make up bed normally if there are more than 2 people want to share...normally travel lodges have a little chef or something
just as bad along side...breakfast there about £6-£7 so it would
be about the same
anyway people let me know asap if you are interested
andy
edited to say interested or NOT
just dont read this ...ANSWER please

hello my loyal followers
there is a convoy (BIG) going from scotch corner at 10 am from all the north east boys & cumbrian posse
there is a hotel there and a service station with travel lodge
it is about 30 minutes from Lightwater Valley
the cumbrian posse will probably be leaving Penrith at 9am so no lie in if you get a hotel there !!
I have paced the car park at scotch corner and we should get 130 noisy scoobs in there!!
sorry i dont have phone number for scotch corner services
but investigation is part of the fun.
