Hi lads, weve got a local road nighy rally on saturday night, and i have come across the entire route on a map just wondering if any of the North Wales scooby netters fancy it.
E-mail me as my profile and we could also have a mini night meet.
Cheers James.

Hi James
Great meet on the last NW run but..........
i would love to run the route sometime in the future, day time would be better tho.
from your post i get the idea (correct me if im wrong) that you want to do this during the rally its self??? being a member of a local Motor Club i dont think this would be very good.
1. Local clubs go to great lenghts to organise a rally with regards to safety etc etc... other cars that 'tag along' just get in the way ruin the comp for the entrants.
2. This practise (and it is quite common) just gives motor sport a bad name as generally these cars just make a neusance of them selves, handbrake turns, doughnuts, speeding and the like. i spectate a lot and iv'e seen it. NOT that we would do this, but spectators just assume this.
3. Police and other organisations (against rallying) are now attending in greater numbers to ensure the rules are adhered to.
4. Not ALL the route would be usable (by outsiders) eg. routes through private land, farm yards and whites.
i suggest a meet where we could select part of this route for our enjoyment.

Hi everyone. Sorry James, I cant make this one – would have loved to.
Steve, I’m with you on not getting involved on the rally route itself – definitely not a good idea on any rally.
I’m sure James only meant to go and watch at various points with maybe a little enthusiastic driving between !! (lets hope so anyway).

Hi Steve, i didn't mean that at all, what i meant was just to meet up at the start where the cars are having scrutineering on and then just drive to different spectator points thats all, no intention of going on the route at all i have been watching these rallys for years and know the score. I guess i didn't explain myself properly.
The rally is no where near the route we did on the run it is down in Pwllheli and on the Lleyn Peninsula.
Cheers James.

Hi James. Yes the Zorst is on and its awesome !!!!
I can certainly feel a big difference in the responsiveness of the car – very happy.
Oh yeah – sounds like Petter Solberg now too!! (maybe not, but it does give the throaty sound that mine was missing and I wouldn't want it any louder anyway).
Have a good night if you go to the rally,
Cheers, Carl.
