Thumbs down

First of all, apologies for using this thread, but I'm looking for some assistance in the S. Wales area.

My so called father recently reversed MY00 Turbo out of my garage and some how managed to cave in the front right wing and take off a sizeable amount of paint off the front bumper.

I have had a quote from a local garage who are asking £706!

The car is due to go to Keith Price tomorrow for an alt. quote.

Has any1 here had to have bodywork repaired and can offer advice on who to use.

Without seeing the car that sounds awfully expensive to me.

I have always used Ian Davies at ID Auto Refinishing Centre in Pontardulais near Swansea.....telephone No. 01792 883115.

Give him a call and take the car down for him to have a look at it....and tell him Dave Ward with the scooby sent you .

I'm sure it would be less than your quote.

Dave

Sorry 2 hear m8,

Have u heard of Tanners in Ponthir (Caerleon) Highly recomended by a friend who has various bits done on his car nearly everytime i see him! Always a top job (does a lot of work for local mazda dealer too i believe) Gonna get him to color code rear bumber things and polish out a load of nasty little scratches at the end of the month.

Darren,

Got the car back this evening. Eventually decided to use Keith Price. Price paid: £640 - didn't really mind as it was my dad who forked out the cash.

To be honest, the job they have done is remarkable - 99.9% unnoticeable. The guy I dealt with was extremely helpful (Chris). He gave my dad a lift home after dropping the car off last Friday and offered to pick me up to get the car tonight.

All round a pleasant experience.
