I would imagine the loom still has the required wiring and plugs already fitted, but this could be the only thing you need to worry about.

You'll need fog lamps from a WRX, they will fit straight into your bumper and a switch. However, on the STI is the IC waterspray button not normally where the fog lamp switch is?

Also, if you choose to refit your fog lamp covers then be careful not to turn the fog lamps on otherwise the covers will melt and get damaged. They produce a lot of heat.

I fitted fog lamp covers to my WRX and just unplugged the switch and blanked it off to ensure I didn't melt them.

May also need mounting brackets and the relay.

From what I've found online the wiring is all there ready and some places sell kits for the lamps and bits you need. No idea where though.

Thanks bud for your advice,I think there is a switch next to water spray on intercooler which is just blank but does click up and down, hopefully all the wires are there and just a relay needed?

If you have a switch then from what I have read you will need: Relay, lamps, brackets and you're done!

Post up some pics once it's sorted! Good luck.

I have some hawkeye foglamp surrounds in crystal grey as I fitted STI covers over my lamps.

I prefer the look of the covers and I have been considering swapping out my fogs for Sti covers, just need to get a set, sort out paint and Sti stickers for them, although if I do that i will have to go all the way full Sti look on the outside at least.

If fog lights were a necessity I'm sure rb320's would have come with them on for sure instead of covers as did the sti' sand the covers would have been an added extra option,' guess you could say it's the opposite of upgrading as the wrx's came with the fogs as std?? Just a theory or an opinion no concrete proof tho :-)

As standard, the covers are blank with no decals.
But the RBoc shop does have some foglight decals that match the OE ones!
