going rate for a uk turbo2000
unfortunately my subaru ownership has to come to an end because im going to Australia for a year .
Just wondering how much people think my scooby is worth.
Rust free rear arches and good paintwork, apexi turbo timer, bailey dump valve, bc coilovers prodrive wheels, scoobyworld cat back exhaust, upgraded radiator.
flo flex arb bushes and drop links.
I changed the cambelt, tensioner, all idler wheels and front crank seal just over 2000 miles ago.
Will come with a prodrive ecu which just needs coading to the key
i tried advertising it on facebook as its free but all you get are time wasters who want to swap for there dads mondeo for it or people offering you £1000 and a mars bar
cheers

To be honest, you are not selling it very well.
No mention of mileage, history, if they are decent tyres (not ditchfinders), MOT, the fact it as a dump valve will put people off.
The fact it will come with a Prodrive ECU (apart from the name it is nothing special)is irrelevant as you can remap the current one to the same levels.
Be realistic, it's a 15 year old, UK Turbo 2000, 215bhp (JDM cars are 280 bhp standard) and they go for £1500 or less (check PH or AT). Unless it's mint with a full Subaru or specialist history your dreaming.
What are your aspirations on price?

i listed mot and history in the ad just forgot to put it here . MOT till march, subaru service stamps to 53k than independent garage. milage is on 119k
has Yokohama prada tyres which suck in the wet to be fair
apparently you cant remap a standard 97/98 ecu without a daughterboard the prodrive ones go for around £150 on ebay
to be honest the body work is in good condition no rusty arches just the odd parking ding.
I had advertised it for £1600 with offers but the best ive had is 1300, maybe i should let it go for that then
Thanks for the reply
on the plus side im hoping to get a nice classic sti when im back (if i have any funds left )

Your car cannot be remapped with the current ECU but to get any gains from the Prodrive ECU you'll need other mods to compliment it.
Similarly fitting a turbo timer is a complete waste of time. Unless you hit a brick wall you'll never need one.

unfortunately this is how i bought it, if i was the one modding it i wouldn't have even fitted the coilovers as i find them too harsh on the back roads.
one use for the turbo timer however is it does tell you the battery charge if that floats your boat
think ill just take the £1300 offer
thanks for the comments always nice to have another opinon

Just to add Jasper, as you probably already know it's the worse time of year to sell a car with Xmas only a few weeks away. You need to decide weather to take the offer of £1300 and get her gone or hold out for more but you could well be waiting a good few months to get what you want for it plus all the time wasters you could potentially deal with along the way.
Personally if you have a genuine buyer I would take the money if you need it gone quickly.
