After some chat on another thread regarding a new gurney flap I have started working on a new project to design a better fitting one to supply in fibreglass and carbon.

The gurney flap is this part, hope you dont mind me using your photo Moley_WRX



As you can see it falls short of each end by quite a gap so I have the task of making it flow better with the car.

After an hour of design work and cutting today I have a rough idea of what it will look like. Its still no where near done so please dont take this as the finished product I still need to get it shaped to the lines of the spoiler properly, this will give you an idea of what it will look like.

I done something similar using a chrysler 300c lip spoiler, universal type of ebay, it gives you enough length to trim n shape. Though one on fibre glass or carbon would be nice

No movement yet mate, I will be getting back onto it soon I have been trying to figure out make the flap rigid so we can mould from it. I think ive done that now so I'll crack on with the project and get back to you soon
