without trying to put a downer on things and being picky but at twice the price of a japspeed one for the newage what are the extra benefits for the extra cash?
Completely different types of cores - these are high quality tube and fin, not bar and plate.
We used to sell bar and plate FMIC kits for £164, but these tube and fin ones were spec'd to replace the Hybrid GT Spec FMIC's that we used to sell and are currently some £500+ for the newage kits
How much for just a core for a classic ?
What's the benefits over a bar and plate design ?
Tim
Benefits of a tube and fin intercooler are that they weigh far less, have better flow and less flow restriction. This is why we opted for tube and fin for over the far cheaper bar and plate (which we have also sold previously). Will PM price.

Do you have any photos of one attached to a Hawkeye?
Finally, do they come with a CAIK? If not, which one would fit?
They don't come with a CAIK. A CAIK will restrict the size of filter you can use whereas if you use a normal induction kit you can run a larger filter. No pics as yet on Hawkeye but the kits are just £399 inc VAT.

Hi Scott,
Not sure to be honest, it can always be relocated easily enough I would have thought.

Let me know your email and I will send you instructions.
Keen to hear some feedback from newage owners on this , am very tempted as was going to purchase bar and plate fmic next week !
Will it suit my set up etc ? I have an sc46 billet turbo , short ram large filtered induction , and all the other required supporting mods I.e injectors , fuel pressure reg , fuel pump etc , and will be fitting 3 port boost solenoid at same time as fmic so it can all be mapped together

Hi Dave,
It might take a while for feedback to start rolling in. We have sold one newage kit and it hasn't been fitted yet.
Am willing to sort a discount for early adopters
