What's the difference between these and your standard timing belt kits?

these are now our "standard" supply kits and rather than using quality factory style OEM components these kits include the identical components used by Subaru..........

you use the kit to match the ancillaries you have fitted, if you have used all of the v3 tensioner plates, etc. then order v3 style

sorry we are v.busy with engine builds, orders, etc. and dont get too much time to "surf"..........better to contact the office direct via phone or email

there is no 'real' benefit to the idler and presumably they do that to cut down on the kits they stock??
we supply the complete correct kits to suit YOUR car and can supply everything from a generic water pump to genuine Subaru or the uprated ones - all priced accordingly

never had a failure in 15yrs+ of "messing" with Subaru's from road to race and extreme drag engines..............

the original engine to use the new-style tensioner didn't use this idler pulley at all, its fitted as a "guide" rather than being a belt bearing

I had one of these kits with a Gates Racing Kevlar belt, good value and you won't get better quality.

the early cars use a totally different 2pce tensioner/pulley arrangement which is more expensive than the later more common single piece unit
