I might be interested in this (heck of a long drive for me, but I do like a good road trip), all depends on work etc if I will be away or now. I will need to speak with my brother to see what he says, but I may need to put my job hunting on hold so I can go to this such worth while event, our lads need all the support they can get.

I see lots and lots of incidents/accidents occuring at this "track", lots of obstacles just off the tarmac and a less than grippy surface=trouble.

Full kudos to the man who managed to organise it though

Its not just about the track day thats just a bonus its where the money goes thats the main thing, IMO a much better cause than sending out the country.

Argh Pants, it's full!!

I have to say that Subaru are very poorly represented

The company I work for deals with Abro loads down at Bovington. I'm going to see if we have a contact to Major James Cameron or somebodyelse, maybe we can get a Subaru day sorted

Watch this space.

I'm gave in when Jim offered a cancellation space so I'll be driving instead of paxing. He also said Drivers Republic will be in attendance in a new Lamborghini. I'm seeing Jim and Al tomorrow so I'll see if I can find out any other details.

It took Jim long enough to arrange this charity day for H4H so chances of a Subaru only day are slim but you can ask...

I'll be in my blue 55 plate STi, I'll be with some mates in a 350Z, Clio 182 and Focus ST. Weather not looking good so looks like some proper road tyres are going on.

Stopping over in Southampton Saturday night so only an hour drive in the morning.

We'll probably leave Southampton at 7am and arrive at 8ish.

Putting it in my car when needed

There's a Shell station nearby so full tank in the morning which will probably last the day as it's TF rules and it's going to be wet. If not I'll pop out and brim the tank at lunch. I don't see the point in taking jerry cans.

Ok thats good then. Wet is going to be fun.

Work is hectic today so gonna have to get tracked/further diagnoses tomorrow instead.

Things are looking better. I think the rack is strong enough to last the day for sure, may have to not go ***** out fast tho.

Cars back in working order. All ready for tomorrow. Its still a bit squirmy on power and heavy breaking. Quite greasy out on the test drive, so tomorrow should be fun/down right dangerous. Car seems a little bit snappy and i feel i need a front LSD

Put my wets on which are just crappy old tyres and the steering is off again. I guess i ruiend the tyres on the spin too, they must now be larger or bent or something. Ahh well wear them out and get some slicks on em

See you tomorrow. Hope there is a burger van there!
