Hi All

if your Scoob is UK and under 3years old, Subaru assured/recovery is not the quickest but will get you and your Car home, in a couple of weeks.

As said some Policy's have Exclusion zones around the "Ring". 15 of us bought AA and specifically said to "Salesperon" we a going to the Ring "That's OK Sir

One of us, his engine sounded rough just before we got there, he still took it around ring but got worse

Called AA and gave them the Postcode for the Ring and AA cancelled his Policy on the spot So ignore what your Told and read the small print.

I would imagine if the breakdown was by your Hotel in Nurburg there would not be an issuse with any insurers.

I think the guy was asking about travel insurance yes?

I'm not sure I have seen any travel insurance companies which specifically mention the Nurburgring. Remember its a public road, NOT a race track.

Hi

Yes I was looking for travel insurance recomendations but any help is appreciated.

I find most policies exclude dangerous activities, thats why you need winter sport cover to go skiing (sp). Just wondered if anyone knew a company that did cover that included dangerous activities.

Thanks

The nurburgring should NOT be included as a dangerous activity as it is a PUBLIC toll road. No timing is allowed, no racing is allowed, and it is run using normal German road laws. If an insurance company pay a claim on the dartford tunnel or the Severn bridge they should pay on the ring.

If you want more info on anything get yourself over to the forum linked to www.northloop.co.uk and we will be more than willing to help you out.
