TIME ATTACK ROUND 1 - ROCKINGHAM
Congrats to phil ( superstar driver ) and all the Team from Litchfields & Powerstaion on second place in Time Attack yesterday. Only beaten by DAX Rush MC ( 600 kg ) , Power from the holeshot turbo Hyabusa engine providing in excess of 400bhp or a little over 810bhp per ton, so not really a straight fight !!
The Team only beaten by 2 secs on the flying lap, but on a more positive note, the lads beat some other cars sporting large power advantages such as third place the norris design car ( 2 secs behind Type 25 ) Mits Evo 9 SWB 841bhp 4WD
At next round at Silverstone they may be able to make up the time deficit, by not allowing Phil the driver to eat a loaf of bread with a multitude of fillings
i have various photo's and two vids if any bodies interested but no doubt the lads will be publishing something properly shortly

came third in 4wd group with a Spec C T20 on Toyo's T1r's with a 1:43.617
pictures attached of mine and mr litchfields car.
approx 80 cars attending next round if they all turn up, so competition should be fierce

Well done Stew - was it fun? I'll see you at Silverstone (hopefully, if my entry is accepted) - can't wait for this

It was great fun, although unless you've got 400+ bhp it's going to very difficult to keep on the pace, but i did it for the taking part
wont be there for round 2 as i'm in Le Mans. However hopefully i'll be back for round 4, with some cut slicks and some 3 way adjustable suspension !!

the in field in very technical and there is a real nasty dip as you come the start finish straight into it. Apart from that the DCCD did it's magic and i don't think the tyres or suspension would have allowed me to go much quicker.
Best thing is to pray for rain me thinks as that's a good leveller

All details available on the site.
http://www.timeattack.co.uk/
However as stated the rules may be changing
However i was running a standard Spec C T20 with standard road tyres, and no overalls. Which made me unique
I think the later rounds will get even more competitive so even if you can't get on track, it's brilliant value for money and brilliant for spectators.
I'm away for next round in Le mans and not able to travel to Knockhill, so i'll be back for silverstone and if i qualify the final at Rockingham.
If your going email me you'll have a great day
