Hi,
I will be attending track days in the near future (as a passenger to start with ...) and was wondering
(a) Can anyone recommend a decent brand of helmet to purchase ?
(b) where in the Edinburgh area can you purchase such a helmet for a reasonable price ?
Thanks,
Andrew.

Andrew, most circuits require you to have a Class A or Gold labelled helmet. You can pick these up quite cheap. Just pop along to a bigger motorbike shop. They should have a good selection.

Indeed - ask the shop for last years design (do they change that much?) or colours.
I couldn't fit my bonce into the cheap (aka small) lids so had to go for my Shuie (Sp?) - down to £95 from £200+ as it was last year's colour (white!).
Chris.

Andrew....check this mail order place out which has good illustrations of the products they sell. You would need to try a helmet for size, as different makes tend to have different shapes and thus suit different heads. The Sparco Clubman open face starts at £55 for example.
