Bedford Autodrome -- helmet question
Info pack for Bedford on 10th August turned up today. I'm not sure I'll be able to contain the excitement until then...
The window stickers courtesy of salsa-king turned up the same day
Anyway, the blurb says BSI 6658 Type A helmet. I don't have a helmet yet (going to buy one tomorrow), so does a gold mark on a motorcycle helmet exceed the Type A requirements? I've searched the archives on this site and I don't think I've found the definitive answer.

Gold Sticker is OK for Track use for our purposes. I think Silver would be OK too, but anyway, look not at the Gold sticker but at the kite mark sticker if you're not sure.
My helmet actually has a sticker on it saying as to what standard it meets,
I would say that if it meets the standard as specified on your information sheet then any helmet meeting that would have a sticker stateing such...
Or if it aint got the relevant Standard sticker then it don't meet said specification!!!!(you should only buy it if it has the appropriate markings otherwise how can you prove it? )
Sales person would also be a good place to start i guess.
see ya on friday...Yipeeeee....
