Backroad / Street Coilovers
Im on stock version 3 sti suspension with tein springs and on of the front upper mounts is starting to knock.
Im thinking about buying a new set of coils now for it.
The car is driven daily and on fast back roads. NOT on track. There is use my evo 6 rs.
what would you recommend? tbh i was very happy with the stock setup.
i dont wont sth with alum. adjustable upper mounts as its too noisy and hard for an everyday ride...
i also dont need hight or any other adjustments.
what do u recommend?

Couldn't disagree more.
I ran BC's (5/4 setup - softest Apex would do for newage and they were bone shakers) for 2 years and now run Racing Logics with a 6/5 setup (last 9 months).
The RL's are in my opinion superior to the BC's in terms of construction and ride, but neither are as good as a standard road setup for a car that's a daily driver in a country where the roads are getting worse and worse and the government is failing totally to address the problem.
The problem on the newage models is that the design of the rear shocks is prone to further failure, and KYB don't do replacements for the widetrack models.
However, on the classic, just buy KYB replacements from Camskill or similar mate.
You get the OEM ride and much more comfort than ANY coilover can provide regardless of what some people might try and tell you (unless we're talking something like KW variants which are so stupidly expensive you need serious reasons to justify em!).

I would go down the road on the classic with Bilstein shocks and good springs, second option is KYB AGX which are great choice on the classic and not last option can be from USA Tokico shocks with Swift springs
About the coilovers not sure,if you are not looking to track yours and you are want comfortable ride,on coilovers ride will be harder/firmer than on above mentioned shocks/springs
