i have the suspension off my 02 STI bugeye standard shocks and Prodrive lowering springs. Will the springs fit an 03 WRX blobeye ? If not , will the complete set fit ? (a buyer only wants springs , but if they dont fit he will need the shocks too)

thanks mate , thought i get more of a response on here than SI , obviously not ! Do you think there is a difference between STI and WRX shocks ? As in are the springs interchangeable.

99.9% sure they are the same. 05 is where it gets tricky.

bug eye springs and blob eye springs are different, at least in the rear. The rear tophats are also different to accomodate the different spring wind. And lastly, the rear shocks are also different. The rear spigot shape is different.

If you were to transfer the entire strut assembly (springs, tophats, dampers, etc.) then you could put it on any WRX and 04 STi. You can use blob eye springs on an bug eye strut only if you use a blob eye rear tophat and a spacer adapter for the strut spigot (google Scooby 921 spacer). Front springs/tophats are identical from 01-07 Impreza.

have to use 03 strut tops on rears as top of 03 springs narrower

Can't use 03 > tophats on bugeye struts... but yes, 03> springs need 03> tops
