Any difference in size?

I've swapped mine off my Blob for a whiteline one and my Dad is interested in fitting the STi one to his bugeye WRX. Any size difference at all?

I have an STI one on my bugeye.

Depending on the age of your blobeye, the STI one might be a bit wider than the bugeye one (can't remember when the bar changed) but lining them up together should show that.

STI one is 19mm IIRC and the stock WRX one is 16mm so it's a nice cheap and worthwhile upgrade assuming the width is OK.

Hmm my Dad just measured his 2002 Bugeye WRX ARB and he's getting it at 19mm. Same as the one I took off my car..?

I always thought the Blob STi had uprated ARBs over the earlier cars. Must have been wrong!

Always possible that someone has already swapped... pretty common thing to do.

He's had the car for a very long time, and it had zero mods when he bought it so I'm not so sure.

I think I'll have to double check that he's measured it right when I get chance!

Would be worth checking... mine was definitely skinnier than the STI one I replaced it with.

Hmmm, didn't think there was a difference between the wagon and saloon... you have me wondering now - will check mine when I get home as I just swapped it out when I got the car as I had the STi one lying around from my old Forester which definitely did have a skinnier bar.

From memory though, the bar I took off was thinner than the one I put on - was rusted to buggery so needed replacing anyway though
