Default Where to find 2005 STI JDM shocks

Hi all,

I need to get my rear shocks replaced as they're starting to knock. Just been quoted £400 for each standard shock! Is there anywhere else I can get them from cheaper or am I now looking at the coilover route? Any traders on here have them for a sensible price?

Part numbers: 20360FE900
20360FE910

Thanks in advance.

There's a fix for them. Richard Henry do it, their details are below. Failing that coilovers are an option but pricey.

I,ve just had 2 rear KYB gold rear shocks fitted along with a steering control arm on my 05 JDM STI for £453 fitted by SW Performance of Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Also try Ebay, but make sure you get the ones that are suitable for 114.3 P.C.D which your car has. Steve.

£400 each! I had this problem on my uk car so I replaced with bc coilovers and cdf droplinks for less than the price of 2 shocks! and it was the best money I spent on it ever

The ones I had fitted were Ultra Sr,s. There are some on Ebay for £140 each delivered. I mentioned this price to my fitter and he managed to get them a bit cheaper. Steve.

I fitted ultra SR on the rear of my 2005 sti,it drove like a dog, apparently they are a lot stiffer than oem shocks, would maybe be ok if new fronts fitted as well????,I bit the bullet and fitted BC.s though

I would give Iain Litchfield or Powerstation a call. They might still have a few kicking around after fitting the T20/T25 upgrades a few years back.

Think I've found them now. £280 for the pair. I was told that these wouldn't fit . But as long as they're 114.3PCD I see no reason why they shouldn't. How have you found them since having them fitted? As RRP1STI said, I have heard numerous people say they are stiff and bouncy.

I,m using 18" wheels and lowered Eibach springs and can,t notice any difference compared to the original shock,s except for the lack of knocking. Steve.
