Rear drop links
Hi guys.
Just wondering if the drop links from a classic will fit the newage 2001?
Reason as my rears are knocking like mad and the ones listed on ebay have the vechices listed and it's saying they fit all from 93-2006 sti/wrx/wagon??
Any ideas.

There are only 2 different fitments on the Impreza, ones for Steel Suspension Arms and ones for Alloy Suspension Arms.
I can highly recommend CDF Racing Drop Links, excellent quality:

Those bushings look different to the Whiteline and SuperPro types I have seen. Is there a difference, and if so could you explain the reasoning behind yours? Thanks

Rear droplinks from a Classic with fit a new age WRX and Bug Eye STi. They are all interchangeable "C" shaped droplinks. For the record, rear drop links on the STi changed to the ball joint style after the blob eye (04+) up to the hawk eye STi.
To confuse things a bit more, STi had aftermarket lateral links (6-piece) that used the ball joint drop links. These were available for the Classic GC as well as GD/GG.

This is the thread pic I was thinking of.
The PU bushings of the Whiteline links are conical instead of flat. Note how the link in the left pic looks compromised.
The movement of the drop links move in an arc, not just 'up & down', so the 'top hat' bushings are actually a suspension limiter in corners

Yup, the point is that some of the flat face bushing endlinks can limit suspension articulation especially if the internal side of the bush is not coned as well. Kartboy, Whiteline and SuperPro all use a coned inner and outer bushing shape that allows full articulation of the suspension arms.
