bolts stuck in rear strut
Guys
Im well and truly stuck at the mo. The rear suspension on my STI had the clunking noise that is a common fault so i thought i would do the overhaul . I have never know bolts as hard to undo asthe two bottom 19mm ones, even with a 4ft bar they wouldnt break anyway i cut the nut and off it came but i cannot get the bolts out from the strut. Has anyone had the problem where you can get the nuts off but the bolts wont come out, they only just turn with the breaker bar on them.
I need help please i have been doing this for the last 3 days and have only got this far, wish i hadnt bothered to be honest but i couldnt do with the clunk. How do i get the bolts out ?
cheers

Seems unusual but have you sprayed the whole area with WD40 and tried working the bolts back and forward. Try lifting the strut very slightly with a block of wood under the disc on a trolley jack then use a punch to try and knock them out. Chances are that you are going to damage the threads tho.
